Why the A40's dual-lens design matters in a Dubai office
Most video bars use a single ultra-wide lens to achieve 120° coverage. Ultra-wide lenses distort the edges of the frame — people sitting at the sides of a meeting room look stretched. The A40 takes a different approach: two 78° telephoto lenses working together, with on-device AI stitching the images in real time. Telephoto lenses produce natural, undistorted images. The stitching creates the wide view without the edge distortion. For a Dubai boardroom where the MD sits at the head of a long table and the team is spread across both sides, this distinction is visible immediately.

What's Inside Every MVC Bundle
Each MVC system comes with MCore Pro miniPC (3 HDMI outputs, Intel Core Ultra 5, EDID support), MTouch Plus or MTouch E2 touch console (8" display, human motion sensor, auto-wake), and the camera listed in the table. The MCore Pro runs Windows 10 IoT Enterprise, which Microsoft Teams Rooms installs onto at setup.
For audio, MVC bundles require separate VCM34 wired microphones, VCM36W wireless mics, or CPW90 wireless speakerphone (sold separately). For speaker output, MSpeaker II sound bars connect via the HDMI/audio outputs. We include full audio specifications in your room quote.
The License You Need
MVC runs Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows, which requires a Teams Rooms Basic or Teams Rooms Pro license assigned to the room resource account. Teams Rooms Pro is the full enterprise license (~AED 165/room/month) and unlocks intelligent camera controls, advanced reporting, and AI meeting features.
Teams Rooms Basic is free for up to 25 rooms and covers standard meeting join, content sharing, and room management. If you're not yet on Microsoft 365 or are unsure which license applies to your organisation, WhatsApp us and we'll advise based on your current M365 subscription.

Video Fence draws a virtual boundary around the meeting space. The bar's AI only captures and transmits what's inside that boundary — both visually and for audio. Colleagues walking past the glass, ambient noise from the open plan, background movement behind the partition — all stay off-screen and out of the call. The boundary is set once in device settings, no hardware change needed, and applies immediately to every meeting. This is built into the A40's dual telephoto camera system and cannot be matched by bars using single wide-angle lenses, where the boundary distortion makes the feature unusable.
