Is Your Model on the List? All of Them Are.
Yeastar declared end-of-sale for the S100 and S300 effective 1 July 2022; the S20, S50 and S412 followed through 2023. No new features are being developed for any S-Series model. Whoever supplied your system — this page is your map out.

The Honest Clock

How Long You Really Have — By Yeastar's Own Policy

There is no drop-dead date printed on the box, so here is the arithmetic instead. Yeastar's published end-of-life policy gives one year of critical bug fixes after end-of-sale, then best-effort patches for four more years. For the S100 and S300, end-of-sale was 1 July 2022 — which puts the end of even best-effort support at mid-2027, less than a year from now.

"Best effort" means exactly what it sounds like: fixes if the ageing architecture allows one, spare parts through RMA only and subject to remaining inventory. Your system will not switch off on a date. It will simply become the only unsupported box in your comms room — while the platform that replaced it gets new releases every quarter. That is the whole case. No drama required.

The Part Nobody Explains Properly

What Actually Carries Over — And What We Rebuild

The fear that stops most migrations is losing what took years to set up. Here is the honest split. Yeastar's official migration tool exports your extensions, your SIP trunks and your inbound and outbound routes from the S-Series into a configuration file that restores onto any P-Series — appliance, Software Edition or Cloud. Your licensed Etisalat or du SIP trunks — TDRA (formerly TRA) regulated — re-register on the new system, so every published number and DID stays exactly where your customers saved it.

Your IP phones re-provision rather than migrate: Yealink, Fanvil and other standard SIP handsets are re-pointed to the new system with plug-and-play provisioning, and your desks keep the phones they already know. What the tool does not carry — custom prompts, time conditions, integrations, the fine detail — is rebuilt by hand before cutover. That part is precisely the service. As an authorized Yeastar distributor in Dubai, we stage the entire new system in parallel while your S-Series keeps running untouched.

Two Migration Paths — Both First-Class

Every S-Series has two destinations, and we install both every week. Path A — where we point most migrations — retires the box cycle entirely: the P-Series Software Edition on your own server or virtual machine, licensed for exactly the capacity you need, from 100 to 10,000 extensions. Path B is the like-for-like appliance swap: same comms-room discipline, modern platform underneath. The official migration tool carries your configuration to either one, and free Linkus mobile and desktop apps come with every plan on both paths.

Not the fallback — the destination many businesses now choose first. Your S-Series configuration restores here exactly as it would on an appliance, but capacity becomes a licence line instead of a hardware ceiling: 100 to 10,000 extensions, 1,000 concurrent calls, expandable in place. The natural fit for DIFC, Dubai Healthcare City and any business that wants call data on its own server.

The Switchover

Five Steps, One Evening, Zero Lost Calls

Step one, a free site audit — we document your extensions, trunks, routes and phone models, on site or over a screen share. Step two, an exact AED quote covering the new system, the migration and the cutover, so there are no surprise lines later. Step three, we stage the complete P-Series in parallel: configuration restored through the official tool, the hand-rebuilt settings finished, every extension tested — while your S-Series carries on working, untouched. Step four, the cutover itself, scheduled after hours: trunks re-register, phones re-provision, and most single-site systems are done in one evening — staff leave on the old system and arrive on the new one. Step five, seven days of hyper-care, then the option of an annual maintenance contract from AED 1,500 to 5,000 per year depending on system size — Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 6 PM support from our Dubai team.

FAQ

S-Series Migration — Straight Answers

Which Yeastar S-Series models are end of life?
All of them. Yeastar declared end-of-sale for the S100 and S300 effective 1 July 2022, and the S20, S50 and S412 followed through 2023. No S-Series model is manufactured or sold new today, and no new features are being developed for the platform. The P-Series is the official replacement line.
How long will my S-Series actually keep working?
The hardware does not stop on a date — a healthy S-box keeps running. What ends is the safety net. Yeastar's published policy gives one year of critical bug fixes after end-of-sale, then best-effort patches for four more years. For the S100 and S300 that tail runs out in mid-2027, and spare parts are already RMA-only, subject to remaining inventory.
Can I keep my phone numbers when I migrate to P-Series?
Yes. Your numbers live on your Etisalat or du trunks, not inside the S-Series box. The trunks are re-registered on the new P-Series during cutover, so your published numbers, DIDs and caller ID carry over unchanged. Nothing needs to be ported.
What settings move across automatically?
Yeastar provides an official migration tool for exactly this journey. It exports your extensions, SIP trunks, inbound routes and outbound routes from the S-Series into a configuration file that restores onto any P-Series — appliance, Software Edition or Cloud. The remaining settings — things like custom prompts, time conditions and integrations — are rebuilt by hand, and that part is our job.
Will my existing Yealink or Fanvil IP phones work on the P-Series?
In almost all cases, yes. Standard SIP phones re-provision to the new system — on P-Series appliance and Software Edition that is plug-and-play provisioning after the old server URL is cleared. We re-point every handset during the cutover window, so your desks keep the phones they already know.
Which P-Series model replaces my S-Series?
Two destinations, and the first is where we point most migrations: the P-Series Software Edition, which lands your configuration on your own server and scales from 100 to 10,000 extensions by licence. If you prefer a like-for-like box swap, the official mapping is S20, S50 and S412 to the P550, S100 to the P560, and S300 to the P570.
How much does the migration cost in Dubai?
The new system is the main cost: P550 around AED 1,930, P560 around AED 3,450, P570 around AED 5,920 — prices are indicative only, contact our sales for actual market prices. Migration and installation labour is quoted per site once we have seen your extension count, trunk setup and phone models. On the Software Edition path, hardware is replaced by a capacity licence, quoted with your extension count. One WhatsApp message with those details gets you a full AED figure for either path.
How long does the switchover take?
Most single-site systems are staged in advance and cut over in one evening, outside working hours, so staff leave on the old system and arrive on the new one. Multi-site and call-centre setups are planned site by site. Your S-Series stays untouched and running until the moment we switch.
What happens to my old call recordings and reports?
They stay on the S-Series — historical recordings and reports do not migrate into the new platform. Before the old box is decommissioned we export whatever your business needs to keep, so nothing you rely on is lost.
Can I move to the Cloud or Software Edition instead of a new appliance?
Yes — the migration tool exports to every P-Series edition. Businesses in DIFC, Dubai Healthcare City and other regulated environments often choose the Software Edition for data control on their own server; others prefer the appliance for a like-for-like swap. We will tell you honestly which fits your case.
Which UAE areas do you cover for S-Series migrations?
Yes — we supply and install across all seven emirates. In Dubai that means Business Bay, DIFC, Jumeirah Lake Towers and DMCC, Dubai Internet City, Dubai Media City, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai World Trade Centre, Dubai Airport Free Zone, Dubai South, Dubai Investment Park, Dubai Outsource City, Dubai Production City, Dubai Science Park, Dubai Healthcare City, Dubai Knowledge Park, Dubai Design District, Barsha Heights, Al Quoz, Deira and Bur Dubai. In Abu Dhabi: Musaffah, ICAD, KIZAD, Khalifa Port, ADGM, Al Maryah Island, Masdar City, Abu Dhabi Airport Free Zone, Al Ain and the Al Ain Industrial Area. In Sharjah: SAIF Zone, Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah Industrial Area, Al Saja'a, SRTIP, Sharjah Media City and Khor Fakkan. Plus RAKEZ, RAK Industrial Area and Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah; Fujairah Free Zone and Fujairah Industrial Area; Ajman Free Zone and Ajman Industrial Area; and the UAQ Free Trade Zone. Site surveys are free and scheduled around your working hours.
Do you supply Yeastar systems to countries outside the UAE?
Yes — and migration work travels well. Plenty of S-Series boxes we shipped from Dubai over the years are running in reseller and end-customer sites abroad, and their upgrade path is the same one on this page. We export replacement P-Series systems with full documentation — commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin — to 51 countries. Gulf, Levant and North Africa: Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Iraq, Jordan, Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia. South and Central Asia with the Caucasus: Pakistan, Bangladesh, Maldives, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia. West and Central Africa: Nigeria, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Togo, Benin, Cameroon, Gabon, DR Congo, Gambia, Burkina Faso, Mali, Liberia and Mauritania. East and Southern Africa with the Indian Ocean: Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Djibouti, Angola, Zambia, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Madagascar, Mauritius, Seychelles and Comoros. Config is prepared in Dubai before dispatch, and cutover is supported remotely — the same commissioning care a Musaffah or Business Bay site gets.
What warranty comes with the new P-Series system?
Every P-Series appliance we supply carries the full manufacturer warranty, and the installation itself is covered by our workmanship guarantee. Ongoing cover is available under an annual maintenance contract from AED 1,500 to 5,000 per year depending on system size.
