Yealink MeetingBar A50
The 4K room bar for medium & large meeting rooms in Dubai
Last board call, three faces froze on screen and the mic picked up the air conditioning instead of the CFO. The room doesn't have a technology problem. It has the wrong bar under the screen. The A50 runs the meeting itself — triple cameras that follow whoever speaks, 16 microphones that reach the end of the table, and a processor fast enough to frame four speakers at once. One bar. We supply, configure and install it across the UAE.
- Triple 50MP camera — auto-framing & speaker tracking
- 16-mic array, 10m pickup + expansion mics
- Native Microsoft Teams & Zoom Rooms certified
- Drives up to two screens (dual HDMI)
- CTP25 touch console or VCR11 remote
- Scales: ceiling audio, 2nd camera, room booking
- Installed across all 7 UAE emirates
- MEA export from Dubai

You have a meeting tomorrow. Here's exactly what this bar does.
Not the marketing version. The firmware version. Every number below is verified against Yealink's current technical documentation — because a wrong spec on this page means a wrong room, and a wrong room means a bad meeting that has your name on it.

The A50 isn't the only MeetingBar — it's the one for bigger rooms
Yealink makes one bar for every room size. Putting an A50 in a two-person huddle wastes money; putting an A10 in a boardroom means the far end can't hear. Match the bar to the room first — then talk options.
A50-031 with touch console, or A50-010 with remote
The A50 ships two ways. The bar is identical — what changes is how the room controls it. This is the most common point of confusion at order time, so here it is plainly.
- It's a real meeting room people walk into and use daily
- You want one-tap join, share, camera and volume from the table
- You're running Microsoft Teams Rooms or Zoom Rooms properly
- You'll add room booking or scheduling later
- Budget is tight or the room is used occasionally
- A handheld remote is enough — no touch console needed
- You may add the CTP25 console later
What's in each box
| A50-010 | A50-031 |
|---|---|
| A50 bar + VCR11 remote | A50 bar + CTP25 console |

| Remote control | 10.1" touch console |
| Add CTP25 later | One-cable console login |
Both run the same triple-camera, 16-mic hardware and the same Teams/Zoom firmware. The console is about daily ease-of-use in a shared room — not capability.
The camera followed the whiteboard. The far end saw sticky notes instead of the speaker.
That's a single-camera bar. The A50 has three lenses — one wide-angle (110° DFOV) that holds the whole room, two telephoto (51° DFOV each) that pull in close-ups of whoever is speaking. The Qualcomm 8550's 48 TOPS of AI processing decides what to show the far end, in real time, without anyone touching a remote.
The person at the end of the table said something important. The far end heard nothing.
That's what happens when the mic can't reach. The A50's 16-mic MEMS array picks up voices from 10 metres with beamforming, noise reduction and de-reverb. The far end hears a clean voice, not the room. And two features most pages never surface — Acoustic Shield and the expansion mic system — take the A50's audio further than anything in its class.
The client opened their MacBook. The system didn't recognise it. The presentation started five minutes late.
That five minutes costs credibility. The A50 handles six sharing methods — wired and wireless, Mac and Windows, with and without network access. The method determines the resolution. This matrix comes from Yealink's admin guide — every resolution figure is verified against the current firmware documentation.
| Method | Device | Max Resolution | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| ⬛ WIRED — HIGHEST QUALITY | |||
| HDMI IN | Any laptop with HDMI out | 4K 60fps | Best quality — use for critical presentations |
| USB-C cable (direct to A50) | USB-C laptop | 4K 30fps | Also enables BYOD mode |
| VCH51 / VCH51 Pro | USB-C or HDMI laptop | 4K 30fps | VCH51 can connect direct or via PoE switch |
| CTP25 touch console | USB-C laptop to console | 4K 30fps | Auto-shares on connect (Teams/Zoom setting required) |
| ⬜ WIRELESS — CONVENIENCE | |||
| AirPlay | iPhone / Mac | 1080p 30fps | Same LAN: mDNS discovery. Cross-VLAN: enable AirPlay Beacon (BLE) |
| Miracast | Android / Windows | 1080p 30fps | Requires Mode 2 (Wi-Fi disabled on A50 — Ethernet required) |
| WPP30 / PA20 pods | Any laptop with USB-A | 1080p 30fps | Plug the dongle, press the button. Non-16:9 stretching now adjustable |
| Zoom direct sharing | Windows / Mac with Zoom client | Up to 1080p | Ultrasonic proximity — one-click, same network required |
Someone walks into the room and spends two minutes pressing buttons on the remote. The meeting starts late again.
The CTP25 replaces that. A 10.1" touch console on the conference table — one tap to join, one tap to share, one tap to adjust the camera. No remote. No laptop needed. No IT call. It connects to the A50 with one cable and the room is live.

Switch between Auto Framing, Speaker Tracking and IntelliFocus mid-meeting.
- CTP25 (in-room console) — Camera Mode, framing, volume, sharing, meeting control, IntelliFocus priority zones. The standard for any properly fitted room.
- Yealink RoomConnect (software on the connected PC) — switches USB mode on/off; configures IntelliFocus and Video Fence in USB/BYOD mode. IT use.
- YMCS / Teams Admin Center / Zoom Device Management — firmware updates, remote reboot, screenshot capture, policy deployment at fleet scale. Admin use.
Your office runs Teams. Your client uses Zoom. Someone joins on their phone. The A50 handles all of them.
Natively certified for Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, BlueJeans and RingCentral. That means one-tap join, native meeting controls and the full AI camera system — no adapters, no browser tab workaround. The A50 runs Zoom Rooms as a certified appliance straight out of the box.
The room grew. The headcount doubled. The system you installed six months ago can't keep up.
That doesn't happen with the A50. Add a second camera for a wider space. Add ceiling microphones and speakers for a clean table. Add professional room audio. The A50 supports all of it in the same ecosystem — no rip-out, no replacement, no re-cabling.
The room was booked at 10AM. Nobody showed up. The 11AM meeting has nowhere to go.
Ghost bookings cost more than one wasted room — they cascade. Yealink's own RoomPanel and RoomSensor Pro solve this natively, in the same ecosystem as the bar, managed in the same platform. The room detects whether anyone actually showed up. If not, it releases the booking back to the calendar. No third party required.
Tell us the room. We'll tell you the kit.
Three starting points from Yealink's validated Design Center — not estimates. Each has been tested as a system. We quote them as-is or adjust for your room dimensions and ceiling height.
You manage 40 rooms across three offices. A firmware update needs to go out tonight. From one screen.
The A50 fits into enterprise IT infrastructure — Teams Admin Center, Zoom Device Management, or Yealink's own YMCS. Push firmware, enforce policy, capture screenshots for troubleshooting, reboot a room remotely. For government, healthcare and financial sector buyers, the security controls go further than most room bars.
The bar arrives configured. The room goes live the same day.
Site survey, mounting, cabling, network configuration, Teams or Zoom sign-in, YMCS registration, AV testing and handover — all one service. The room is fully commissioned before we leave. No outstanding IT ticket. No follow-up call to figure out firmware or framing settings.
